We had a wonderful morning yesterday at Lifepath Tiverton. Songs of Praise came to film us for their Pentecost episode airing on the 24th May.
Children from St John’s Primary School in Tiverton joined us for the filming and gave some incredible interviews. They spoke beautifully about Lifepath Tiverton, what they were learning, and how it might relate to the choices they make in their own life path.
Many Lifepath volunteers from churches all around Tiverton and the surrounding villages joined us. The project is a wonderful example of ecumenical working. From our team, Steph Packham, Matt Packham, Mandy Rowley and Pam Holley were involved.
Please do tune into Songs of Praise to see us, and to find out more about Lifepath Tiverton. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Steph : stephaniepackham92@hotmail.com
We are hoping that by being featured on Songs of Praise, others all over the country may be inspired to work collaboratively and creatively with schools in their area.
It is so important that we bring faith to life for our young people, and part of that is sharing what it means to be a person of faith. Lifepath Tiverton does this by immersing children in history, art, drama, music and creative activity. The children are encouraged to be curious and to ask questions for themselves about what it means to be a Christian in today’s world.
